Although your extensions may cover the majority of your mane, an optimal leave-out is present!
A leave-out is your own hair seperated from being secured sewn, interlocked or attached to your extensions. It is ideal to leave out the nape and hair line areas of your hair, along with sectioned parting. Leaving out your hair achieves the most natural look and versatile styling. You may blend your own hair with the extensions when styling and have optional pin up styling.

One of the most common issues with a leave-out is heat damage due to excessive curling and straightening of the hair. While you may be able to play up any style with your extensions from heat pressed curls to bone straight, your own hair is not up to the everyday wear.
What's the solution? While cutting back on the heating tools may be obvious, there are great products on the market that not only protect your hair but infuse shine and help hold your curls!
Before applying heat to your hair apply heat protecting products sparingly to each section. Elimate damaged hair and breakage!
